I have been using Queenie nails for about seven years now. I have sent more people there than I can count and spent thousands of dollars, they keep track for points so I’m sure of this. Today will be my last visit. I did not have anything other than my debit card and the total was $24 she pointed to the sign which said the minimum was $25. I explained that was all I had and it was only a matter of a dollar. When she handed me the slip to sign she had charged me the extra dollar to make it $25. I understand them having a policy for people charging small amounts but to lose a customer over a matter of one dollar seems like really bad business, especially considering I often go and I’m the only person there when it used to be packed. Today for example is a Saturday and there were only three other people in there. I suspect they will not be around for very much longer. Very sad but I will be bringing my business elsewhere.

First off the technician used her metro card to scrape off the old powder I was having replaced lol. It was painful she didn’t soak them before hand. The technician filed my nails the completely wrong shape. Not to mention grinding my natural nails down extremely thin along the whole surface with a dremel tool I asked for a French manicure the white tips weren’t uniform some were much wider than others and not straight The pink the technician used was very bright look like a little child‘s nails polish not natural at all. I was extremely disappointed I will not be back.

I went to Queenie Nail Spa the first time a month or so ago and I’m never going anywhere else again! I had an acrylic set put on and I got a pedicure. They’re amazing here and I love the location of it. They’re all very sweet and do a phenomenal job on manicures and pedicures

My powder gel manicure came out awful, uneven, bumpy & was so thin it cracked the next day. Some nails were buffed so thin they were see through and they started to break one by one day by day. I made it a week before I went somewhere else to get them redone because they were broken and catching on everything. Seemed like I got a bad technician because other people seemed to be return clients leaving happy. I guess they need training in powder gel but I won’t be returning.

Got there about 1 hour and 40 minutes prior to closing (more than enough time for a fill in and gel color) was told to wait 10 minutes; meanwhile the other 4 employees are sitting on their butts staring at the phone. I guess only one knows how to do acrylics. Finally got told to pick a color after 20 and started the process almost 10 mins after doing so. Did such a rush job, shape is curved and unevenly squared up, acrylic and gel is so thick and hideous on one hand and nice and even on the other. I never come here but my other nail place couldn’t fit me in and I was in need of a fill. Was my first and last time coming here. Not worth it even if you’re in desperate need.

Great price for Pedicure however, my nail technicians switched after I soaked and the second technician cut my cuticles so far back they bled . I’ll probably be back because they have packages as well. I believe it’s $45 for a mani-pedi and eyebrow wax.
